First Contact: Xbox360 PC Wireless Gaming Receiver… Chinese knockoff ;)
A while ago I got an idea to purchase a Xbox360 wireless controller receiver for my PC so that I would be able to connect up my wireless guitar hero drum kit to the computer to use as a MIDI input in FL Studio(read: Digital Drum Kit) So I began my search to find one.
The Receivers are available in local shops like EB Games, but unfortunately they can only be purchased in a pack with a wireless Xbox360 controller, unfortunately not cheap. So I looked for a second hand one, again no luck. Last week I decided to look online to find one, and find one I did, not only that it was also cheap
The receiver I purchased was not an official one so i had my doubts that it would fully work but as it was so cheap i decided to go ahead and buy it anyway and take my chances. I am happy that I took this chance as today it arrived in the mail in a rather official looking package

Inside the packaging the was the receiver a driver install disc and a sheet of paper detailing the install instructions, rather poorly, but what can be expected from a knock off Chinese product.

I plugged the Receiver into my pc and installed it manually using the official product drivers from Microsoft (never trust a disc sent from china XD).
I tried it out in a few games after i synced my xbox360 controller to see if everything worked correctly, and surprisingly for a knock off everything worked perfect, no input delay, no missing buttons nothing wrong, even the guide button worked in game that support Windows Live and so does the vibration
At this point i remembered why i bought the thing in the first place, so i could use my drums. So i synced them up and with a little help from some MIDI mapping software they where working flawlessly as a MIDI input device for FL studio and any other app that allowed midi input
Overall I was very pleased with this product and so far this has been the only item i have bought online from china that has worked flawlessly

Hi, Bro. I was wondering, which kind of drum kit your using in this test? If is Logitech wriless drum controller? Thank you.

The kit I used in this review was the standard GH one, but since then I have used the RB one and also the logitech kit and some others, all of which worked Fine. So you should have no problems if thats what you want to use

Great! Thx, I just want to purchase a Logitech Wireless Drum for Xbox 360 and use on my laptop which is window 7 OS. But I searched almost entire Google and Bing, There was nobody say if this receiver can use for Logitech Drum for PC. But in logitech official forum, they say the PS3 edtion can use on PC, but XBOX 360 edtion is cheaper.
Thanks again, finally I got the answer.
